Ministry like any other occupation has its ups and downs. Being a pastor is unique. Your heart and soul are given over to caring for others.
At the Kingdom Partnership, we are well aware of the challenges that ministry presents. That’s why we created with the Lord’s direction, Shepherd’s Care.
The mission of Shepherd’s Care Program is to offer the opportunity for pastors, leaders, and ministers to address their mental health challenges. These can range from being isolated in a faraway rural area, disappointment, discouragement, anxiety, or issues of a more serious nature. NO PROBLEM is off the table.
We have great men of the ministry prepared to walk alongside you as coaches and support mentors. We also have a clinical therapist for those difficult issues.
How serious are we at helping you? Our coaches and mentors adhere to a Code of Ethics. Read for yourself.
LOVE. Christians carry the burdens of others. In times of suffering, it becomes especially important to care for, invest in, and carrying these burdens alongside others.
HONOR. Coaches treat pastors and ministers with the respect they deserve, treating them as Christ would treat them.
FAITH. Our coaches demonstrate the spiritual resources of faith and prayer. Faith also provides our Coaches with a deeply rooted hope that God will work in the lives of pastors.
COMPASSION. Coaches and mentors demonstrate a compassion as they encounter the “true-selves” of the pastors – the good and the bad. Coaches and mentors will exhibit and overwhelming compassion for broken pastors made in God’s image.
HUMILITY. A humble heart is at the core of our coaches. In order to effectively care for pastors, who come to Shepherd’s Care from places of vulnerability in the midst of a struggle, a posture of humility becomes of utmost importance.
This is the Code of Ethics that all our servants have agreed to. They have walked the same trail of the good and bad that face every pastor one time or another. THEY CARE!
Are you facing a difficulty you could use some encouragement, support, a listening ear and loving heart? Call us. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
