Campaign 50 is a joint collaboration between the Kingdom Partnership and the Christian Church Leadership Network. The objective of Campaign 50 is to recruit and train 50 men to learn the basic skills of ministry.

Across America, thousands of small and rural churches are on the brink of closing their doors often because congregations are unable to find a pastor. One preacher shares that he currently serves a congregation of 8! When he leaves the church will close. This is true for many congregations that are being served by a Baby Boomer preacher. For many, retirement is on the horizon. Then what?

Bible Colleges were once prominent in the training of pastors are themselves no longer open. Thus, a terrible void has been left of available pastors.

But what if the next pastor at a church was not a professional that was discovered in a pulpit search, but was a member of the congregation? A member of that congregation that would be willing to step up and provide leadership for a season or even longer. Training church members to lead in an interim capacity or to take their first steps towards a long-term ministry.

The Kingdom Partnership in collaboration with the Russell School of Ministry, Central Christian College of the Bible, and the Christian Church Leadership Network has developed an 8-week online course guided by mentors covering basic ministry skills for those who would be considering whether God might be calling them to serve in their congregation or those in the area.

The course can be taken without leaving home, or leaving your job, complete the course work online and at your own schedule, with a 1-hour call with a ministry mentor each week.

At the end of the Bridge Ministry Training, students will have;

*A sermon that one can preach and a plan to stabilize a Sunday morning worship service.

*A funeral message and a checklist for a complete funeral service.

*An introduction to baptism and how to perform one, crisis visits, and pastoral care.

*Where a pastor already exists, the Bridge Ministry Training student can fill in on Sundays, provide a well-deserved weekend off, or due to illness, retirement, or serious health issues including passing away.

Thanks to the Christian Church Leadership Network who provides the training, open slots are currently available. This is a wonderful investment by any congregation looking to serve the Lord by paying for their tuition. The cost of training is $125.00
